One way to protect a hologram on an ID document can be by using transparent overlays. The optical image covers variable information and cannot be removed without being destroyed. Any tampering attempt would be obvious. In this form the hologram protects both against counterfeiting and against falsification.

If you would like the added security of a hologram on your product or document, but are not quite ready to commit to a custom image, you may be interested in a stock hologram. The stock images we offer are our original designs. They can be customized by overprinting up to 3 colors, or with sequential numbering. Wonder Pac has a variety of stock holograms available.
